3 points please. Will be extremely disappointed with anything else.

How very refreshing to benefit from an injury time goal, as since we have come into the SPL we have been undone by many against us.

Delighted.

It was close but it was also entertaining. happy to be wrong..ish.

We should have had the game tied up agter 15mins and then rode our luck. How they missed that chance in the first half is beyond me.

Great result.

More crap officials it must be said. imrie was getting kicked up and down the place but got no protection from the ref.

The 1 sour note was the number of bookings which may impact after the split. We cant afford that we dont have the depth, the dissent and Mensing's were not needed. Chasing the ref over shys and nothing decisions is not required, trying to get folk sent off is not needed either.

What a first 5 mins of football. Marko had to go off which is a bit of a convern as well.

Will enjoy tonight!

What a difference the last 5 mins made today with St Johnstone getting the winner against Falkirk and us getting a winner a couple of mins later. The table looks so much better tonight after these two goals. Flavio is in danger of becoming our top scorer if he keeps this up!

Thoroughly enjoyed the game today, chances at both ends and plenty tackles. Thought the refereee was murder again, that particular trend continues. Happy for Flav too, thought he'd have been the one coming off for his brother but Billy was proved right to keep him on. He had a great start on the left, but after that 'challenge' by Ross looked as if he didn't fancy it, but his goal will keep the confidence up. The wee grab of the badge after the game always goes down well too!

MAC looked out of sorts, short of match fitness obviously and struggling to turn quickly on his knee, but coming off towards the end and another week's training should do him good before the Falkirk game.

All in all, delighted to get the win after the frustrating, if entertaining, draws recently. As the old cliche goes though, at this stage it doesn't matter how you get the points, as long as you get them. I'd happily endure the crossbar-rattling scares we had today for a 1-0 every week.

Onwards!

I thought Flavio had a great game , and has proved once again to be a good signing , a bit better than his brother who is ok.

That was one disappointing thing for me today was how quickly the fans were to jump down Weso and MAC's throats today. Obviously both have had a long lay off and anyone who has played football after an injury knows it takes 2-3 weeks to get all aspects of the game back.

Mensing might have been sent off for his retaliatory push in the first half, but from my angle I didn't see what the linesman must have seen - Mensing had been pulled back, so the ref decided to book both players.

If linesman saw Mensing being fouled then we should have had a penalty.

Agree Simon lucky to stay on though it would have been very soft. Too many soft bookings Ref and linesmen may give shocking decisions buit we need to walk away. Getting on to ref will not change his mind.

Could have had the game won in the first ten minutes 1 disallowed, 2 off the woodwork and a possible pen (see above). got out of Jail free before half time - great save by Thomas the ball went to Dargo who the hit bar with goal wide open.

First half performance deserved to win the game but came down to St. Mirren's level in the second half. But great to sneak a late win for a change.

Same result next week would be superb.

I said to my brother at half time that Flavio was the key to winning the game for us. He provided the bit of spark that has been missing since McCarthy's departure. In this division games can turn on such moments with someone willing to try something a bit different. The twins are improving every week now, and will only get better. Hope they've been secured for next season.

Yeah, it looked pretty obvious even from a spectator's point of view that he (naturally) isn't up to speed at all. I agree, there were a few around me giving him a bit of stick for being "offside" despite the big man simply being unable to get turned quickly enough for a new phase of posession.

Weso also, it's only natural he'll be cautious especially after the last time he "recovered" from the injury and ended up coming back off and missing a week.

The twins have at least one more season with Accies, if not two.

Whilst I'm delighted with the win that was another shocking refereeing performance. I said to myself I wouldn't let it bother me but why are our referees so incompetent? When Marko collected the ball for our throw in and the ref gives a free kick for handball..what? Even the St. Mirren dugout agreed that the ball was out.
Our passing in parts of the game was good and I felt we deserved the win today against a team who were outplayed and outclassed. Hopefully it'll give the team some confidence and we will start picking up some key results.

On a sidenote: Who does Jack Ross think he is? The amount of cheek he was giving to our dugout was shocking. His wee BBC Blog must've went to his head.

Agree mate, the stupidity of football fans in general, not just accies, is something I'll never understand. You wonder if these guys even played footy with their mates at school or after nevermind for a team, because some people just do not have a clue and you wonder if they ever played football in their life.

At last a wee rub of the green with the last minute goal and the crossbar saves. The twins and MAC deserve great credit for the way they have had to change their natural game. To see Flavio tracking back and tackling (albeit one badly mistimed) is evidence of this.
Myself and some others around me thought Alex Neil had already been booked for dissent when contesting a throw in on the far side, and I fully expected a red when he picked up 'second' booking. Although perhaps like the standside linesman my vision is going.
