| I am searching for a collection of "hard" but not hardest sudokus. "Hard" is a rating of my daily newspaper. They should be solvable by humans. I tried "minimum sudoku" from Gordon Royle, but these are too differing. And I tried "top10000" from Ruud, but these are too hard. |

There are many puzzles marked "Advanced" at this web site in the forum group "Puzzles by daj". Although I'm not posting puzzles there anymore, there are numerous puzzles logged that may suit your needs. |

You could have at least tried some of the puzzles posted in that forum to see if they fall into what you consider to be "hard".
Hard is a subjective term when it comes to Sudoku puzzles. There's "newspaper hard" at one end of the spectrum, and then there's "forum hard" for experienced manual solvers that solve puzzles posted in various forums or generated by various solver/generator programs.
